Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

1.1. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of your agreement with 1st Soft Limited and applies to all use of the Privify service.

1.2. Privify provides UK virtual mobile numbers for lawful personal and business use. The service is designed to help people protect their privacy — not to facilitate harm to others or to circumvent legal obligations.

1.3. By using Privify you agree to comply with this policy. Breach of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1. You must not use Privify to send or receive communications in connection with any of the following:

  • Illegal activity — any activity that is unlawful under English law or the laws of the jurisdiction in which you are based.
  • Fraud and deception — impersonating any person or organisation, obtaining money or services by deception, or facilitating any form of financial fraud.
  • Harassment and harm — harassing, threatening, stalking, or causing distress to any individual.
  • Spam and scam operations — operating or assisting any SMS spam campaign, phishing operation, or advance-fee fraud scheme.
  • Circumventing identity verification — using your Privify number to bypass know-your-customer (KYC), anti-money-laundering (AML), age verification, or any other legally required identity check.
  • Drug-related activity — any communication relating to the unlawful supply, purchase, or distribution of controlled substances.
  • Child exploitation — any content or activity that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Terrorism and serious crime — any communication in furtherance of terrorism, organised crime, or other serious criminal offences.

3. Responsible Use

3.1. You are responsible for all use of your Privify number and account, including any use by third parties who gain access through your account.

3.2. You must not share your account credentials with others or allow anyone else to use your account.

3.3. If you become aware that your number is being used in a way that breaches this policy, you must notify us immediately at support@privify.co.uk.

4. Enforcement

4.1. We reserve the right to investigate any suspected breach of this policy. Where we reasonably believe a breach has occurred, we may:

  • suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice;
  • report the matter to law enforcement or relevant regulatory authorities;
  • disclose information about your account to the extent required by law or to protect the rights of third parties.

4.2. We will cooperate fully with any lawful request from law enforcement or regulatory bodies in connection with use of our service.

5. Reporting Misuse

5.1. If you believe a Privify number is being used to send you unwanted or harmful messages, please contact us at support@privify.co.uk with details of the number and the nature of the contact. We will investigate and take appropriate action.

6. Changes to This Policy

6.1. We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
